This program involved the distribution of waqf Qur’ans accompanied by guided activities in reading and understanding the Qur’an, serving as a medium for learning Islamic teachings across various age groups. Through this initiative, it was expected that community members would not only gain access to Qur’anic texts but also develop proper and fluent (fasih) recitation skills and the ability to comprehend its contents.</em></p> <p><em>The results of the program indicate an increase in community participation in religious activities, as evidenced by the growing attendance at places of worship, especially among children and adolescents. The main problem addressed is the low level of student awareness regarding environmental care, as reflected in their lack of concern for cleanliness. The method applied in this program is a participatory and educative approach through observation and documentation. The participatory approach involves students directly in environmental cleaning and management activities, while the educative approach is carried out through socialization and awareness programs about the importance of environmental preservation.&nbsp; The &nbsp;results &nbsp;indicate &nbsp;an &nbsp;increase &nbsp;in &nbsp;students’ &nbsp;understanding, awareness, &nbsp;and participation in maintaining campus cleanliness. This is reflected in positive behavioral changes, where students become more responsible and actively involved in environmental activities. Based on observation and documentation results, this program is considered effective in encouraging positive behavioral change among students. Effective learning methods will be able to increase students' interest and motivation to learn. Students who have high interest and motivation to learn will more easily absorb learning material and achieve better learning outcomes.</em> <em>The purpose of writing this research is to find out and analyze the implementation of learning activities carried out by KKN students at SDN 03 Kertasura, Kapetakan District, Cirebon Regency. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research method using teaching techniques in two forms, namely teaching activities at school and outside school in the form of tutoring, namely Calistungji (reading, writing and arithmetic). The research results obtained from teaching activities at school during two meetings showed that student motivation in learning had increased. Meanwhile, in the calistung method, the evaluation obtained at each meeting showed that there was an increased level of student motivation obtained from changes in behavior in the affective domain. The recapitulation of absent attendance which increased at each meeting using the calistung method also indicated students' enthusiasm in participating in the learning process.</em></p> Indah Merakati Ru’yatun Aisa Copyright (c) 2026-08-01 2026-08-01 3 2 19 24 10.52188/junu.v3i2.2317 Sosialisasi Bijak Penggunaan Gadget Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar https://mail.journal.unucirebon.ac.id/index.php/junu/article/view/2321 <p><em>Gadget use among elementary school students is increasing and has the potential to have negative impacts if not accompanied by adequate understanding and supervision. This outreach activity aimed to educate students at Halimpu 1 Elementary School about the wise use of gadgets and to raise awareness of the importance of managing time and content when using technology. The methods used in this activity included delivering material through visual media (PowerPoint), interactive quizzes, and a drawing lab on the theme "The Dangers of Gadgets." The results showed that students responded positively and actively participated in all activities. The visualization of the material helped improve understanding, while the interactive quizzes encouraged more enthusiastic student participation. The drawing lab served as an effective evaluation tool for creatively assessing student understanding. Furthermore, several students began to demonstrate courage in discussing and sharing their personal experiences related to gadget use, reflecting a change in attitude and initial awareness. Thus, this outreach activity successfully achieved its goal of increasing students' understanding and developing a wise attitude towards gadget use. Based on initial observations, most teachers still rely on conventional methods with less varied media, resulting in less engaging learning and leading to low student participation and understanding. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide mentoring to teachers in implementing creative, digital, and contextual learning media appropriate to the needs of elementary school students. The methods used in this activity include socialization, training, direct practice, and evaluation of the learning media implementation results. The activity was carried out in a participatory and collaborative manner so that teachers could actively develop and use the learning media independently. The results of the activity show an increase in teachers' knowledge and skills in designing and utilizing various learning media, both technology-based and non-digital. Furthermore, there was an increase in students’ interest in participating in the lessons. In conclusion, the mentoring for implementing learning media at SDN 1 Kamarang is very important to support a more effective, engaging, and meaningful learning process. Organic waste generated from school activities and surrounding environments has the potential to be reused through composting processes. However, limited knowledge and skills in waste management have caused organic waste to remain underutilized. This community service activity aimed to provide assistance in organic waste management through composting and greening programs as an environmental education effort at SD Negeri 2 Durajaya. The activity employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach through several stages, including problem identification, environmental education, composting practices, greening activities, and evaluation. The results showed an improvement in the understanding and participation of school members in sorting and processing organic waste. The simple composting program was successfully implemented as a medium for organic waste management, while the produced compost was utilized to support school greening activities. This activity also encouraged the development of an environmental awareness culture through the active involvement of teachers and students.
